Chris Darrow was a California roots-rock musician who played with David Lindley, Kaliedoscope, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and The Corvettes (who eventually became Linda Rondstadt's backing band). He started a solo career in 1970, recording for Fantasy, United Artists, Takoma and Taxim. In 2012, Drag City reissued his debut LP, Artist Proof. Chris Darrow passed away in 2020 at the age of 75.
